It’s almost identical if you’d ask me, so why not try to copy their success pattern? Well actually I like to keep some of my original things, I’ll keep my own header ideas but I’ll also use the javascript for sliding features posts, it’s quite useful. Also Scorpiono v2 as I like to call the new theme will have a bit more dynamic features, a search bar, and most of all I’ll have long, high-quality, useful articles beside my /daily www/ ramblings.

I’d agree with you on this one if I didn’t found them identical almost. It’s not a bad thing, it’s simply a notice that success patterns are starting to look alike, exception Shoemoney, but I think he’ll consider doing this as well.

I was shocked when I visited Johns blog and saw the revised theme. It looks amazing! One of the best out there at the moment.
